Filterhaus in Werder upon Havel

Theme: Wedding 2020 Quick arrangements, requests were taken into account, and suggestions were mentioned, which we found very good. Staff were very friendly to the guests, could be reached quickly and we as the bridal couple were always informed. Food still highly recommended. Accessibility for guests by train around the corner. Sufficient parking spaces nearby and on site. There are enough beautiful spots nearby for bridal couple photos and with the guests directly on the beautiful terrace. Location can only be assessed through images. Simply great, if you like rustic but modern. Restaurant Filterhaus- is a wonderful location with a lot of possibilities. Very friendly staff, very attentive, small but very exclusive menu. Wonderful food and a very good selection of wines and sparkling wine.

We were here for the second time on September 26th, 2020, especially from Leipzig. I agree with my husband's review last year (“Finally I would like to write a review.…”) And would like to introduce the concept to anyone who is curious. The chef cooks all dishes fresh and alone. Due to this requirement, only 6 different dishes can be cooked per half hour, which is shown in the reservation every 30 minutes. At the same time it is very nice for the guests, as there is always a certain discreet atmosphere in the restaurant. After all, you want to enjoy the star chef (Gault Michelin) properly. As a special bonus you felt the waiter on your own, which gives the stay an exclusive feeling. At the same time, he or she has plenty of time to answer all the guests' questions and give them excellent advice. We like to come again during Advent to try the delicious Christmas cuisine.

We recently stayed here as guests at a wedding and I have to say it was one of the most pleasant venues we have ever been to for such an event. A great, attentive and friendly team. Incredibly good food and a great view. Definitely to be recommended!

Outstanding restaurant. Great service, our requests were dealt with quickly. Service was good too, a senior waiter who coordinated the young waiters very well which kept waiting times very low for most dishes and drinks. Since all dishes are freshly made, it still takes of course, but there is no other way and it is worth the time. I have seldom eaten as well as I did here. I will gladly come again.

We celebrated a wedding here. The location is fantastically located on the water. The food is absolutely recommendable and was upper class. The service staff was also always there and delivered orders promptly. All in all a perfect evening. We'll definitely go back here privately.

We were invited to my brother-in-law's wedding there in early July. In short: very good food, courteous staff, cheap alcohol and a disastrous manager / owner who has no tact at all. He kept coming up to guests or the groom with topics that are not discussed during a groom's MOST IMPORTANT day. I could really write an essay about the managing director here, as this has seldom happened to me. I also suffered from alcohol poisoning from the cheap alcohol (and no, I didn't drink too much). Something like this has never happened to me in my life and I will definitely not visit the location again. 2 stars really only, for the staff and food.

The food: small selection, but all the more delicious. The service: courteous and almost all extras fulfilled directly. The ambience: an excellent view of the harbor water. Shades could be expanded.

Once again I was impressed by the quality of the food. Fresh, extravagantly presented and delicious. However, the dining room is large and few people were present, which is beneficial to the positive atmosphere.

The overall package is right here: very good food, delicious wine, beautiful ambience both inside and outside right on the water with a view of the boats and very nice and professional staff. My friend and I really enjoyed our evening in the filter house. Despite the adversity caused by Corona, a nice atmosphere is created here and the guest is given a good and safe feeling. At the moment it is always necessary to make a reservation in advance, but this is sufficiently indicated both on the website and outside the restaurant.

We were now 3x in the filter house and were pleasantly surprised every time! A small but very fine menu, moderate prices and a delicious culinary delight! Worth it! Very nice service, it's worth it!

We had advertising from the filter house in the mailbox and it sounded appealing. We were close today and thought we would take a walk (30min) for coffee there. But when we got there we were informed that they don't have time to make us a coffee. Not even 30% of the tables were occupied. The employee was also very snooty. We then ran back 30 minutes in a bad mood and without coffee

Very nice food and friendly service!

Rarely eaten so well in Werder and surroundings! Great ambience, very friendly service and small beautiful play area for children. Definitely worth a visit and also suitable for larger groups of people. We had by arrangement (larger birthday group) received a smaller individual card, this was to ensure that all had the food at the same time.

Delicious and fresh food. Nice location with nice service. Despite upscale cuisine pleasant atmosphere which is also very child friendly. The toilets are on the 1st floor and therefore not. Wheelchair fair, but there is still a ground floor toilet (harbor toilet?). The fish was delicious!

Delicious restaurant with a small but very fine selection of main course. Prices are perfectly acceptable for the quality. Unfortunately, here are reviews of people who should rather eat at the Currywurst Bude. Pitches for spontaneous with boat are also available! Service is super friendly and fun to the kids. Small games corner is also available!

The menu was well arranged and the offer nevertheless not too small. The dishes were delicious. In spite of that, the waiting time was too long, even for a large group that wanted to serve at the same time. Also, it is not acceptable for a good restaurant to have no sweet potato fritters and mayo around lunchtime. Otherwise it is a fancy building and nice staff.

The filter house is a real asset to the city of Werder. Finally a fancy and extravagant card that is affordable and offers many varied dishes. In addition to the exceptional ambience right on the water, the staff there is exceptionally friendly and makes a joke with the guest. So that's really recommended.
